That is a very good question to which, unfortunately, I still have no concrete answer. The current global pandemic has affected our reunion plans on multiple occasions. In the first instance when we had to cancel my boyfriend's visit to Mexico, which was originally scheduled for late April or early May. Also, the plan to travel to Korea during the summer was cut short by limitations and restrictions on international flights.
I must admit that this affected me quite a bit, as I was hopeful that this time we would not be apart for that long. Last time we waited for more than a year and, to this day, we already have more than 8 months without seeing each other in person. This uncertainty of not knowing when the day will be when we will see each other again is the biggest disadvantage of a long distance relationship.
Fortunately, South Korea did not close its borders to Mexican tourists, that is, it is possible to enter the country without having to process a permit or visa and we can stay for a maximum of 90 days. However, one of its preventive measures is the MANDATORY 14 DAY QUARANTINE for all people entering the Korean peninsula. In the case of foreigners, such quarantine is normally carried out in facilities designated by the Korean government. Which has a cost of 2,100,000 won! Which is almost $1,800 USD. Despite the fact that my boyfriend offered to pay the cost of the quarantine, I firmly rejected his offer, being a quite considerable sum of money, which in my opinion it was better to save.
Because of this, we began to look for more options to be able to see each other again and not severely affect our economy. For this we needed to gather official documents that included apostilles, as well as translations from Spanish to English and later to Korean. However, we were presented with another obstacle, most of the government offices in Mexico are closed, operating only online or, in the best of cases, through appointments. However, I was able to obtain the necessary documents when the offices reopened, even though I had to queue for more than 6 hours outside and under the hellish sun of my hometown.
At this moment I am at a crucial moment, waiting for a package in the mail that contains the necessary documentation to be able to continue with our process and finally buy the tickets for my return to Korea. I will try not to think about it too much and focus on other things so that the wait does not seem so long. Patience has been a constant throughout our relationship, so I think we have managed to cope very well with our situation despite missing each other day by day.
Extraño muchos nuestros momentos juntos.
I miss our moments together a lot.

¡Hola a todos!
Hello everyone!
STYLENANDA Pink Hotel (스타일난다 핑크호텔) is definitely one of the most beautiful clothing and cosmetics stores in all of Myeongdong (명동). Its hotel theme is impeccably executed and this has captured the attention of many tourists. For this reason, in today's blog post I want to take you with me for a mini tour of this popular place.

In total it has 5 floors and a terrace where we can enjoy a delicious coffee or a nice dessert. The facade of the buildings is a beautiful pink color, decorated with a STYLENANDA (스타일난다) neon sign and two flags with the 3CE logo.
The first floor (1F) is the Lobby where we can appreciate the “reception desk” where the keys for each room are located. We also have the "library" that is a wall full of pink books. On this first floor we will find 3CE brand makeup products.
The second floor (2F) is the SPA that has beautiful dressers to test the products of the 3CE brand and touch up our makeup. It is on this floor where the famous tub full of flowers with the neon sign with the phrase "Hello Gorgeous 3CE" is located.
The third floor (3F) is called ROOMS, that is the hotel rooms. Here we find sets of STYLENANDA (스타일난다) brand clothing and the "rooms" are the dressing rooms. Seriously, it shows that every single detail has been taken care of and I love that.
The fourth floor (4F) is called LAUNDRY. We can observe as decoration four washing machines and even a soap dispensing machine. On this floor we also find more clothes, but this time with an emphasis on accessories, such as bags, hats, scarves, etc.
The fifth floor (5F) is the POOL. This floor is divided into two, the first half is more clothes, with greater focus on denim pants and the other half is the cafeteria. I was fascinated as in this floor the dressing rooms are the showers and because of the decoration with pink and blue ceramic mosaics on the wall. Unfortunately on this occasion the terrace was closed. I hope that on my next visit it is open and I can go out and enjoy a refreshing drink on the terrace.
STYLENANDA Pink Hotel (스타일난다 핑크호텔) has an impeccable aesthetic, dominated by pink, gold and marble. It is another must see in Myeongdong (명동). I hope you liked the little walk through this lovely hotel.

¡Hola a todos!
Hello everyone!
One of my first interactions and approaches with South Korea was through its cosmetics, affectionately named kbeauty. I used to be a girl who didn't use makeup or skin care, despite living in one of the hottest cities in the world, now I can't leave my house if I don't apply sunscreen before.

PASEANDO POR MYEONGDONG
WALKING THROUGH MYEONGDONG
The first time I was in Myeongdong (명동) everything felt so unreal, I really couldn't believe I was there, I was in that place that I had wanted to visit for more than 7 years. That's why it was no surprise to me that in each store I was amazed and the hours flew by. Finally I had the products in front of me, being able to use their testers and buy them at the moment without having to wait more than two months to receive them by mail.

I dreamed of visiting one of their branches, testing their products in person and buying all the products in my wishlist. Although the impact generated by the brand on me is no longer the same as before, I still felt that my inner teenager was super happy walking around the store.

COSRX (코스 알 엑스) is, without a doubt, one of my favorite skin care brands and it was amazing to find their products in the Aland store (some are available at Olive Young).

Unfortunately I did not visit Café de Paris, as I was going alone I thought it would be too sweet and a lot of food just for me. Next time I will try their famous Strawberry BonBon (딸기 봉봉) and his rainbow cake.

The Innisfree Green Cafe (이니스프리 그린 카페), another of the must-see places in your visit to the streets of Myeongdong. I will also dedicate an exclusive blog post, but I can tell you that I loved it.
Tip: If, like me, you are a lover of Korean cosmetics and want to explore Myeongdong with relative tranquility, I recommend you go as early as possible and preferably during the week. This way you will avoid the tumults of people and you can browse the stores more freely.
MYEONGDONG STREET FOOD
However, Myeongdong is not only popular due to the large number of cosmetic stores, but also for street food. A visit to Myeongdong is not complete without first trying out some of the street stalls. You find everything from Oreo churros, tornado potatoes, egg bread, to lobster with cheese. While the prices of such food are a bit higher than elsewhere in Seoul, I highly recommend it.
This little bread with egg has been one of the best I've had, it tasted great.
This ice cream with honey was a whole experience, it was delicious, it is another snack I would buy again.
Unfortunately, during my three-month stay in Seoul, I only visited Myeongdong 3 times and on one of those occasions it was only at night to try street food. For this reason I could not take as many photos as I would have liked, I hope to correct this when I return to Korea.

And these were the little adventures of a Mexican girl who loves KBeauty through the streets of Myeongdong. I honestly had a great time during my visits, although my wallet suffered a lot on every occasion. I hope you are very well and wish you a nice day.
