CAFETERÍAS EN SEÚL: INNISFREE GREEN CAFE | 이니스프리 그린카페 명동

Hello everyone!

Como mencioné en la entrada anterior, después de visitar la N Seoul Tower (N서울타워), nos dirigimos con rumbo a Myeongdong (명동) para cenar en la cafetería de Innisfree Green Cafe (이니스프리 그린카페). A ambos nos gusta la marca de Innisfree y cuando solamente éramos amigos comenté, a modo de broma, que algún día iríamos juntos a la cafetería, jamás me imaginé que esto en verdad se haría realidad.

As I mentioned in the previous post, after visiting the N Seoul Tower (N서울타워), we headed to Myeongdong (명동) to have dinner at Innisfree Green Cafe (이니스프리 그린 카페). We both like the Innisfree brand and when we were just friends I jokingly said that one day we would go to the cafe together, I never imagined that this would really come true.

UBICACIÓN - LOCATION

Esta sucursal de la cafetería de Innisfree se encuentra situada en el barrio de Myeongdong, en una de las calles principales a pocos metros del Lotte Young Plaza. Se puede llegar tomando el metro, la línea 4 y la salida 6, aunque es muy fácil distraerse con las tiendas de kbeauty y los puestos de comida callejera.

Dirección: 15, Myeongdong-gil, Myeongdong 1(il)-ga, Jung-gu, Seúl, Corea del Sur.

This branch of the Innisfree coffee shop is located in the Myeongdong neighborhood, on one of the main streets a few meters from Lotte Young Plaza. It can be reached by taking the metro, line 4 and exit 6, although it is very easy to get distracted by kbeauty shops and street food stalls.

ESPACIO - SPACE

Hay tres pisos en total, en el primero está la tienda de cosmética de Innisfree, en el segundo y tercer piso es donde encontramos la cafetería. El estilo de la marca se ve claramente reflejado en la decoración, predominan los colores claros con un toque de naturaleza con la madera y plantas. Es muy espaciosa, con muchas mesas y asientos disponibles, tanto para una persona, parejas o grupos. Además, tiene una linda vista a la calle principal de Myeongdong.

There are three floors in total, on the first is the Innisfree cosmetic store, on the second and third floors is where we find the coffee shop. The style of the brand is clearly reflected in the decoration, light colors predominate with a touch of nature with wood and plants. It is very spacious, with many tables and seats available, both for one person, couples or groups. In addition, it has a nice view of the main street of Myeongdong.

PRECIOS Y SABOR - PRICES AND FLAVOR

Me atrevo a decir que la estrella de la cafetería son sus Souffle Hotcake - 10,000 KRW, a pesar del tiempo de espera de entre 20 y 30 minutos. Estos hotcakes son exquisitos, los más suavecitos que he comido en toda mi vida, se deshacían en la boca. Asimismo, Fruits Oreum Toast (과일 오름 토스트) -  8,500 KRW, es sumamente delicioso y que me encantó. Algo a tener en cuenta es que ambos platillos pueden resultar muy dulces para ciertas personas.

I dare say that the star of the cafe is their Souffle Hotcake - 10,000 KRW, despite the waiting time of between 20 and 30 minutes. These pancakes are delicious, the softest I've ever eaten in my life, they melted in my mouth. Also, Fruits Oreum Toast (과일 오름 토스트) - 8,500 KRW, is extremely delicious and I loved it. Something to keep in mind is that both dishes can be very sweet for certain people.

OPINIÓN FINAL - FINAL OPINION

La recomiendo ampliamente, su popularidad está super bien merecida, en definitiva un lugar de visita obligada en Seúl. Vale completa y absolutamente cada minuto de espera para que los souffle pancakes estén listos. Tengo muchas ansias por regresar y probar más platillos y bebidas de su menú. Asimismo, en el futuro me gustaría visitar la sucursal de la isla de Jeju.

I highly recommend it, its popularity is well deserved, definitely a must see in Seoul. It is completely and absolutely worth every minute of waiting for the souffle pancakes to be ready. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes and drinks from your menu. Also, in the future I would like to visit the Jeju Island branch.

Sin duda fue una decisión bastante acertada haber decidido ir a esta cafetería para festejar mi primer cumpleaños en Corea.

Without a doubt it was a pretty wise decision to have decided to go to this coffee shop to celebrate my first birthday in Korea.
